The plot is located inside the traditional-use subzone, with the following INAH restrictions:

• Agriculture: Only that undertaken with traditional sustainability-focused techniques and methods.
• Plant nursery set-up: Only with native species.
• Low environmental impact tourism: Hiking, wild flora and fauna observation, biking.

The restrictions are high for those projects which don’t follow the low environmental impact tourism restriction.
